Mack 10 recently made an appearance on the Murder Master Music Show, where he announced he was working on his first solo album in over a decade and the possibility of a Westside Connection reunion. When asked what it would take for the trio to come together for their first album since 2003's Terrorist Threats, Mack said the decision was ultimately up to Ice Cube.

“That’s the question of the year, bro!” he said. “I don’t know, man. People asked me that and I really don’t know what it’ll take. I’m down, I’m sure Dub is down. Somebody probably gotta ask Cube what it’ll take because I really don’t know.”

In a previous VladTV interview, Mack 10 detailed the friction that drove the group apart and that there hasn't been a reconciliation between Mack and Cube since an altercation with Ice Cube's brother-in-law.

Mack 10 also announced his new solo album, The Redprint, and how the COVID-19 pandemic has inspired him to focus on music again.

“With all the COVID stuff going on, it gave me time to get in the studio,” Mack said. “To be honest, my business was doing so well; I didn’t really have time. I stay busy. I didn’t really have time to concentrate on making an album. But all this quarantine stuff? Sh**, you can’t do nothing but record and just kind of brush up on your craft a little bit. I took advantage of this time to finally get an album done. I’m almost finished. It’s called The Redprint.”
