Over 200 summer campers at a YMCA in Georgia contracted the coronavirus after just days into their stay. The YMCA’s Camp High Harbor in Rabun County was forced to shut down after 260 of the tested residents had positive results. The first reported case was on June 24 and began sending campers home soon after and shut the entire camp down by June 27. According to reports, in total, 44% of the children, staff members, and trainees who attended the camp were attacked by the virus.

What's more, reports say that the camp did not require attendees to wear masks. The summer camp outbreak added to Georgia's already dismal numbers with more than 170,000 confirmed positive cases and over 3,600 deaths.
