According to reports, ex-NFL player Dana Stubblefield was found guilty of raping a “mentally delayed” woman.
The incident occurred in 2015 and found the 49-year-old reportedly raping the woman after asking her to come back to his home to pay her for her time. The woman initially went to Stubblefield’s house to interview for a babysitting job. After raping her, the man reportedly gave her $80. She immediately went to the police and reported the incident.
Stubblefield was a defensive tackle in the NFL for 11 seasons and was an NFL Defensive Player of the Year. Now, Stubblefield has been convicted of rape by force, oral copulation by force, and false imprisonment. Stubblefield is currently facing 15 years to life in prison.
