Boosie recently had a pool party at a mansion in Atlanta, where coronavirus restrictions were previously rolled back from Phase 2 to Phase 1, which is meant for people to stay at home. Despite that, Boosie’s pool party had a massive turnout, which caused much backlash after video footage of the event surfaced.
In the footage, what appears to be hundreds of people can be seen in the backyard of the Atlanta mansion. Many of the people seen in the footage are not social distancing and don’t have masks on. Since then, people have been calling out the rapper for the party, noting how his issues with diabetes could be further complicated by the possibility of getting COVID-19.
This comes after Governor Brian Kemp re-opened the state of Georgia in April 2020. Since then, coronavirus cases rose into the thousands after only being at a few hundred.
