According to reports, Pusha T was slated to be featured on a track entitled "Paranoid" alongside Gunna, and Young Thug on Pop Smoke's posthumous (debut) album. Pop Smoke's manager Steven Victor interacted with fans on Twitter who were asking about features from artists they assumed would be on the project. When Thugger and Gunna were brought up, Victor confirmed that they have a track together with Pop Smoke but didn't make the cut because of a "glitch" that he said will soon be fixed.

However, Steven Victor completely omitted the fact that Pusha T was also on that track and apparently took aim at Drake. Hip-Hop Lately was the first to report the story after finding a YouTube video of the leaked track with Pusha's verse along with lyrics to the song found on Genius. In the verse, Pusha goes at Drake by delivering a line about Mississauga, the neighboring city to Drake's hometown of Toronto. Pusha's alleged verse can be found below:

You know reality bites
It's chess not checkers
Those empty threats only sound good on your records
If the patois is not followed by blocka
It's like marked for death Screwface, without the choppa
Let 'em rush the stage when you made like Sinatra
Only to find the blade, flyin' back through LaGuardia
I might even buy a home out in Mississauga
On my walls, half scrawls of Tshabalala's
Many doors, that are sprawled, they my il nana's
Make a call, she gon' crawl, Bad Gyal Patra
I'm involved then absolved, I am Godfather, hush
