In this clip, David Jassy talked about some of the violence he witnessed while incarcerated and laid out some of the main differences between San Quentin State Prison and other correctional facilities. David described what it was like being locked up at San Quentin and how he was eventually able to create music while inside. He also detailed how he eventually produced the San Quentin Mixtape and the morale boost inmates felt after rapping on the tape.
