While speaking to Angie Martinez, Breonna Taylor’s mother—Tamika Palmer, spoke on the tragic incident involving her child and talked about how the police attempted to lie on her daughter’s boyfriend and try to insinuate that something happened between them which resulted in her death. However, it is known that police used a no-knock warrant and shot the young woman after entering her home.

Palmer said that police asked her “if I knew of anyone who would want to hurt Breonna or Kenny (Breonna’s boyfriend). So of course, I said no.” Martinez then asked why police would ask that question if they already knew what happened, which caused her to say, “At this point, they still hadn't told me who did this or what happened,” and noted that she asked to speak with the boyfriend again. Palmer went on to detail how the police gave her the runaround when she specifically asked about seeing the “warrant” they used, with a detective telling her he “didn’t know where it was” and also it “could have gotten lost in the shuffle of things.” Watch above.
