Recently, footage surfaced of looters breaking into a Wal Mart in Florida and taking over $100,000 worth of merchandise. The clip of the looting essentially went viral, and this caused Ice Cube to speak out about the situation.
Ice Cube has been known for his takes on politics and the general mistreatment of black men and women in the United States, which has always been his stance in media despite the family-friendly image that came about from the movies he’s starred in over the years.
In a fair and straightforward response to the viral footage, Ice Cube took to Twitter and said, “No arrest, and I’ll cover the $100k. Deal?” So far, Wal Mart hasn’t responded to the legendary artist’s statement. Watch the clip above.
