Update 06/12/2020 12:34pm:

According to reports, the NYPD has allegedly identified the shooter behind the murder of 22Gz affiliate Nick Blixky.

Police are claiming that a 28-year-old named Caliph Glean was the alleged triggerman behind the shooting of the up-and-coming 21-year-old Brooklyn rapper. Investigators are saying that Glean allegedly shot Blixky in the back and upper body. Court documents that surfaced noted that Glean reportedly dapped the rapper only moments before the shooting took place. In the court documents, an NYPD officer said “There is probable cause to believe that the individual who shot and killed Thompson is Glean.”

Police say they were able to ID Glean from surveillance footage near the scene of the shooting based on the clothing he wore. Along with that, police pointed out that they made the ID based on a tattoo that was visible on the alleged shooter’s arm. So far, Glean has been charged with illegal possession of ammunition in the case. Stay tuned for more details.
