Footage surfaced online showing barricade fencing being built around the White House amid ongoing protests in D.C. after the death of George Floyd in Minneapolis.

This comes amid a report from the Washington Post, which revealed that four people breached the barricade on Friday (May 29) night, and were apprehended by the Secret Service. Donald Trump, First Lady Melania Trump, and their son Barron were reportedly rushed to a secure bunker after the incident, and the alert level at the White House was raised from "yellow" to "red."

Trump addressed the reports and claims he was just in the bunker to inspect things, telling Fox News, "I was there for a tiny, short little period of time. They said it would be a good time to go down and take a look because maybe sometime you're going to need it."

On Saturday (May 30), Trump tweeted about the protesters, writing, "Big crowd, professionally organized, but nobody came close to breaching the fence. If they had they would have been greeted with the most vicious dogs, and most ominous weapons, I have ever seen."
