According to reports, Jay-Z's Team Roc has taken out full-page ads in various newspapers that are showing support for protesters across the country.
The ad is actually a letter dedicated to George Floyd, whose life was taken by an ex-Minneapolis police officer who held his knee on the 46-year-old’s neck for nearly nine minutes.
The letter features a portion of Martin Luther King Jr’s 1965 Selma speech and also features signatures from families who lost loved ones and children to police brutality. Along wi that, Floyd’s family attorney Ben Crump signed the letter. The letter appeared in the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, the Minneapolis Star Tribune, the Los Angeles Times, and the New York Times. Take a look above.
