The string of deaths of unarmed black people continues to no end. Some of the more highly publicized fatal encounters between black people and police or racist vigilantes seem to have stricken a nerve with the American public, particularly the deaths of Ahmaud Arbery, Breonna Taylor, and most recently George Floyd.

Atlanta rapper DQJ is clearly one of those perturbed by the violence brought upon black people and got a new, somewhat controversial tattoo of a noose around his neck. For anyone familiar with American history, DQJ's commentary shouldn't be lost.
