Montana of 300 declared himself the best rapper out of Chicago on Twitter on Tuesday (May 19), writing, "Im the best rapper out of Chicago ever + the industry period. Nobody can match me. Mfs better off finding a better beat than mine...cuz as far as rap, it’s a wrap. N I’ll kill whoever on their own shit too n y’all know that. N these crackers don’t own me or my music. #RapGod."
Fellow Chicago rapper Tay600, responded to Montana, writing, "Lol Ion Even Have A Problem Wit yo music shorty ion care for it fr ....but the way u down play artist from da city to hype yoself up really blows me ..if u is really from here u not even top 50 ,that rap battle and forced metaphors shit has gotten u nowhere so humble yoself boa!!"
