Before that, Babyface and Teddy Riley went head-to-head in a battle of their hits. Now, Timbaland and Swizz Beatz have revealed that Nelly and Ludacris are the next superstars set to face-off in a battle of the hits.
While on Instagram Live with Timbaland, Swizz Beatz said “Nelly want the smoke with Ludacris,” then said “Can we get that, Ludacris vs. Nelly? Can we get that next Saturday, Timbaland?” Timbaland responded by saying “Yes, we can get it. We got that,” which led Swizz to say “Ludacris vs. Nelly. Next Saturday. It’s not a f**king game." Nelly and Ludacris’ ‘Verzuz’ battle is set to take place on Saturday, May 16.
