Floyd Mayweather took to Instagram to address the recent death of his uncle and longtime trainer, Roger Mayweather, and his former girlfriend and mother of 3 of his kids, Josie Harris.
Floyd called Roger a "great trainer, my uncle, a father figure," and while speaking about Josie, he stated, "As far as dealing with the loss of the mother of my children, she was a significant other. A great woman, a great person."
Later in the video, Floyd spoke about donating to causes helping those in need amid the coronavirus pandemic. He stated, "I'm here to help this world become a better place. With everything going on I'm going to continue to do my part." Floyd also made clear that he's not revealing the amount he's donating, stating, "I don't have to show the world what I'm doing, I can do something behind closed doors."
