Previously, legendary rapper Scarface revealed that he had COVID-19 via Instagram Live. The rapper said he was recovering from pneumonia in both lungs. Now, the rapper has given another update on his condition, noting that he suffered from a kidney failure.
While speaking to Geto Boys group mate Willie D, Scarface said “I fought the COVID, double bilateral pneumonia and kidney failure, all in my house.” From there, Scarface talked about being on dialysis, and the port he has to be on several times a day as a result. He said “This my new lifeline. I gotta change my entire diet. I gotta do dialysis four times a week, three hours a day. That’s taking all of my blood out, cleaning it, and putting it back in my body. Before the COVID, I never had kidney problems before.” Watch above around the 20:46 mark.

Scarface recently sat down with Ludacris for an Instagram Live video, where he gave an update on his health after revealing that he tested positive for coronavirus.
During the talk, Scarface revealed that he has been living through "hell" for the past few weeks, adding that his breathing has been suffering while recovering from having pneumonia in both lungs. He also added that the test to determine whether he has coronavirus was horrible, and Scarface says he has been speaking to his doctors remotely while quarantining at home.
At one point in the interview, Scarface was asked about hearing of anyone else testing positive, and he revealed that Faizon Love also tested positive for coronavirus. While Faizon hasn't spoken publicly to confirm the news, Scarface said that Faizon is recovering at the same rate as he is. To hear more of what Scarface had to say, hit the above clip.
