According to CNBC, China is reportedly set to lift the lockdown on Wuhan, the epicenter of the coronavirus outbreak. Travel restrictions on the city are to be lifted by April 8 effectively ending the lockdown which began on January 23. said a Hubei province official. Since the virus first arrived in Wuhan back in January it claimed the lives of 2,300 people which accounts for 80% of China's total COVID-19 related deaths.
