According to The Hill, a number of students from the University of Tampa have tested positive for COVID-19 following students' spring break trips last week. In a tweet posted on Saturday, the university wrote, “UT has been notified that five UT students, traveling together and with other UT students during Spring Break, have tested positive for COVID-19." The University of Tampa did not choose to disclose the names of the students nor their travel destinations. 

The Hill also reports that the University of South Florida, St. Petersburg and the state's flagship, University of Florida, have also reported positive tests from a number of students. According to UF's website on Sunday, the university had 10 students and one employee infected by the virus.
