According to reports, Pittsburg, CA rapper A-Wax has been named as a suspect in a recent homicide. This news comes on the heels of A-Wax, real name Aaron Scott Doppie, being charged with gun possession. His charges include three felony counts related to alleged possession of a loaded gun and two large-capacity magazines.

The homicide is currently under investigation with no further details disclosed. Doppie's next court date which will be a bail hearing is set for March 27 but could be pushed back considering precautions about the COVID-19 virus sweeping the nation. 

Deputy DA Jen Tompkins said that Doppie was taken into custody on Tuesday on a murder warrant and was found with a loaded pistol including ample ammunition.
