According to reports, Harvey Weinstein is now on Riker’s Island after his heart surgery at Bellevue Hospital was successful.
Sources close to the situation say the disgraced producer had a heart stent put in, and that the procedure took four hours. Sources in the situation also noted that Weinstein is set to be monitored constantly while on Riker’s to prevent an incident similar to Jeffrey Epstein.
Weinstein is still facing trial in Los Angeles, where he is accused of raping an Italian model in a Beverly Hill hotel.

Previously, news broke that disgraced movie producer Harvey Weinstein was convicted of third-degree rape and a count of criminal sexual act in the first degree against a woman named Mimi Haley. Since then, it was reported that instead of going to Riker’s Island in New York, Weinstein was reportedly taken to the hospital after he complained about having chest pains.
As a result of his complaint, he was taken to the Bellevue Hospital in Manhattan. The convicted sex offender allegedly fell ill after hearing the verdict for his case while in court.
The judge on Weinstein's case reportedly denied Weinstein and his team’s request to stay out on bail. Weinstein was ordered to remain in jail until his sentencing.
