Recently, Spike Lee got into an incident at Madison Square Garden in New York as he tried to go through an employee entrance instead of the VIP entrance meant for celebrities. Video footage that surfaced shows Lee getting into a verbal altercation with venue security, who allegedly told him to leave and go through the correct entrance. However, Lee’s ticket was already scanned, which caused an issue.

Lee can be heard saying in the video, “Are you going to arrest me like Charles Oakley?” The Knicks released a statement on the matter saying “The idea that Spike Lee is a victim because we have repeatedly asked him not to use our employee entrance and instead use a dedicated VIP entrance—which is used by every other celebrity who enters The Garden—is laughable.” While on ESPN's First Take, Lee spoke on the incident and said: "I’m being harassed by (Knicks owner) James Dolan, and I don’t know why.” Watch above.
