During his recent interview with Genius, Jadakiss offered up some hip-hop history as it pertained to classic lyrical sparring session - "Reservoir Dogs." The track was featured on Hov's Vol. 2... Hard Knock Life and boasted verses from Beanie Sigel, Sauce Money, and The Lox. But according to Kiss, the events that led to the studio session made Styles P go at Jay on his own track.

When The Lox got in town to record the song, they requested time to drop off their bags but Kiss said Jay wasn't trying to wait. "So we're like, 'That's cool. We're gonna go home, put our luggage (away).' And they were like, 'Nah, (JAY-Z) wants you to come there right now.'" He went on to say, "We ain't got carry-ons. We got big sh** we had to check. So that put us on edge a little, 'cause we always lookin' at it like, 'If (Hov) just landed, would he just come to the studio with his luggage? No!' But that was a good edge."

Kiss said that he, Styles, and Sheek went along with it and everyone but Styles laid down their verses that day. The following day, Styles recorded his verse but Jada explained how he still felt some type of way about the day before. His frustration with Hov was expressed in the opening lines of the verse:

"I don't give a F*** who you are, so F*** who you are
I don't care about a pretty b***h, watch or a car
I don't care about your block and whoever you shot
I don't care about your album and whenever it drop
I don't care about your past if I did I woulda asked"

"He was going at Hov on there. Hov was like, 'Well, it sounded like you talking about me on it," Jadakiss said.
