According to reports, Obie Trice has been charged with a misdemeanor in the shooting of his girlfriend's son. Investigators determined that the gun accidentally discharged after an apparent physical altercation which left the 18-year-old victim with a non-fatal gunshot wound. Trice was officially charged with misdemeanor possession of an unregistered firearm.

Eminem's former Shady Records artist Obie Trice was arrested early Friday (December 6) following a shooting at the home of his girlfriend in Oakland County, Michigan. 

According to reports, police arrived at the home after neighbors called and reported that they heard loud noises and yelling. Obie and his girlfriend told police that they had gotten into an argument. The woman revealed that her 18-year-old-son got into the middle of the argument and a gun went off, hitting the teen in the groin. The teen drove himself to the hospital and it was revealed that he suffered a fractured pelvis from the bullet and is in stable condition. 

Obie Trice was booked for felony assault with a gun and violating a restraining order. More details to come.
