According to reports, two men in posing as members of the legendary Wu-Tang Clan scammed a number of hotels making off with over $100,000 worth of goods and services. Investigators say that Aaron Barnes-Burpo and Walker Washington told hotel management at three different hotels that they were Wu-Tang members and currently managed by Roc Nation.

While at the Georgian Terrace Hotel and Hyatt Regency in Atlanta, the two men were able to leave with tabs of $45,000 and $39,000, respectively. The New York Post also notes, "[t]he high-flying criminals drove a Rolls-Royce Phantom rented from A-National Limousine, which reported a $60,000 loss." The pair also booked studio time at two Atlanta-area recording spots totaling $17,000 in unpaid studio time.

Aaron Barnes-Burpo and Walker Washington hit the third hotel in Augusta, GA but it didn't take hotel staff long to see past the ruse. After being arrested, Washington and Barnes-Burpo were charged with conspiracy to commit wire fraud and aggravated identity theft.
