Snoop Dogg recently made it clear he is not rocking with Gayle King for a Kobe question she asked Lisa Leslie during an interview. The rapper went on to call Gayle King a “funky dog head b***h” as a result. Since then, Snoop said he’s not laying off of commenting on Gayle King for her gesture. However, Snoop received backlash from many people, including Barack Obama’s former U.S. National Security Adviser Susan Rice. Now, Snoop took IG to clarify some of the comments he made toward Gayle King.
Snoop noted that the message he initially was getting across to King wasn’t meant to be violent, saying, “I'm a non-violent person. When I said what I said, I spoke for the people who felt like Gayle was very disrespectful towards Kobe Bryant and his family. Now with that being said, What I look like wanting some harm to come to a 70-year-old woman? I was raised way better than that. I didn't want no harm to come to her and I didn't threaten her. All I did was say, 'listen, you're outta pocket and we're watching you.'"
