According to reports and confirmation from friends and family, Screwball rapper Hostyle has passed away at the age of 47.
Frederick Ivey, also known as Hostyle, was a founding member of Queens hip hop group Screwball along with members Blaq Poet, Solo, and KL, who passed away in 2008. Screwball collaborated with the likes of DJ Premier, Pete Rock, Marley Marl, and more. Currently, no cause of death has been revealed for the rapper. Condolences go out to the family of Hostyle as well as Screwball.
