According to reports, a Charlotte, North Carolina man named Arlando Henderson allegedly took $88,000 from Wells Fargo’s vault, and then showed off the cash on social media, which ultimately led to his arrest.

An unsealed indictment revealed the situation in its entirety, showing that Henderson was under investigation by the FBI and was indicted in November 2019 for over 30 counts of financial institution fraud, money laundering, embezzlement, theft, and more. Henderson allegedly rigged the books to cover his tracks from stealing, but ultimately gave himself away when he was seen driving off the lot of a Charlotte Mercedes Benz dealer with a new car after putting down $20,000 in cash.

A photo that Henderson posted on Facebook in San Diego ultimately led to the FBI finding him and arresting him on December 4, 2019. Arlando Henderson’s arraignment has not been scheduled yet.
