Update 11/14/2019 7:43pm:

The NFL has reportedly revealed that 11 teams have agreed to attend Colin Kaepernick's workout in Atlanta on Saturday. In a press release from Thursday, the league noted: "Eleven teams -- Arizona, Atlanta, Cleveland, Denver, Detroit, Miami, New England, New York Giants, New York Jets, Tampa Bay, and Washington -- have already committed to attend, and it's only Thursday. With two days remaining until the workout, we expected additional teams to commit."

A couple of teams, in particular, could be looking at Kap as a potential starter next season such as the Cleveland Browns, Miami Dolphins, and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. The press release also stated, "Former NFL head coach Hue Jackson will lead the drills, and former NFL head coach Joe Philbin will be in attendance as well. We will send video of the workout and interview to all 32 teams, including head coaches and general managers."

Update 11/13/2019 9:25pm:

According to new reports, the Atlanta Falcons and Detroit Lions have emerged as two of the franchises taking advantage of Saturday's workout/interview event. For starters, it should be no surprise the Falcons are having team reps attend the workout considering it is being held in Atlanta. The Detroit Lions head coach Matt Patricia is also sending reps to scout Kap's workout:

"As an organization, we always do our due diligence on all players that are available ... so I know [Bob Quinn] and his staff will have someone down there to watch the workout and we’ll see where that goes."

TMZ reports that Kaepernick's camp requested a list of organizations and executives that would be in attendance but the league declined to provide such a list. Moreover, a number of teams have already reached out to his camp letting them know there won't be any reps in attendance from their respective teams.

According to ESPN's Adam Schefter, a number of NFL clubs have been informed that a private workout will be held in Atlanta for Colin Kaepernick. The memo from the league read:

"Earlier this year, we discussed some possible steps with his representatives and they recently emphasized his level of preparation and that he is ready to work out for clubs and be interviewed by them. We have therefore arranged this opportunity for him to work out, and for all clubs to have the opportunity to evaluate his current readiness and level of interest in resuming his NFL career."

The session will include both an on-field workout and a subsequent interview. Schefter also reports that several teams have inquired about Kaepernick's readiness earlier this year. Just last month Kaepernick's reps said the 32-year-old has been "working out five days a week, for three years, in preparation to play again."
