Vivica A. Fox recently sounded off on reports that Issa Rae is planning to remake 1996's bank heist movie Set It Off, which Fox starred in alongside Queen Latifa, Jada Pinkett Smith, and Kimberly Elise.

During an interview with Entertainment Tonight, Fox stated, "It’s a classic — leave it alone." She added, "There’s absolutely no reason to try to redo it. It’s been done, and we did it so well, that people are absolutely going to compare it to that and I think that’s her taking on a tremendous chore because that film has become a cult classic and some things are just better left."

Vivica went on to say that people would "slay" Rae if the remake wasn't good, which you can hear in full above.
