The suspect in the Santa Clarita school shooting has been apprehended by police, who revealed that the 16-year-old Asian student is in "grave" condition after shooting himself in the head. Los Angeles County Sheriff Alex Villanueva addressed the media following the shooting, revealing that the shooter was among the six people treated for gunshot wounds when responders arrived. Villanueva also told the media that two students, a 16-year-old female and a 14-year-old male, were killed in the incident. A .45 semi-automatic pistol with no rounds left in it was recovered from the scene. A search warrant was also obtained for the suspect's home.

A 15-year-old suspect wearing all black is being sought by police following a school shooting at Saugus High School in Santa Clarita, California. According to multiple reports, seven victims were wounded in the incident. So far, no fatalities have been reported.
