Jane the Virgin actress Gina Rodriguez came under fire this week after she uploaded a video of her singing along to The Fugees' "Ready or Not" and saying the n-word. Rodriguez apologized in both a video and a written post, but a video from the past has resurfaced in light of the recent controversy.
The video is a North Side Comedy skit from over seven years ago, which shows Rodriguez telling a black man to "Take a lap, n***a," which quickly spread online. Rodriguez has yet to respond to the video since it resurfaced.
