Devout Christians may now be able to partake in hypebeast culture after a creative company called MSCHF developed a special edition of the Air Max 97. Dubbed the "Jesus Shoes," MSCHF customized the 97s and injected the sneakers with holy water from the River Jordan where Christians believe Jesus was baptized. MSCHF also says the sneakers were subsequently blessed by a priest after the holy water injections.

The "Jesus Shoes" went on sale this past Tuesday for $1,425 and sold out in minutes.
