According to an alleged letter sent from the government to the judge, there was a request made that Tekashi’s sentencing be moved up. This means that the rapper will allegedly get time served in terms of a sentence. If that happens, it more than likely means the rapper will be out of jail that same day. Previously, It was revealed that Tekashi would be sentenced for his case in January 2020. The rapper testified and named many names in the case, including popular rappers who aren’t affiliated with the rapper. Since testifying, the rapper’s two co-defendants Anthony Ellison and Aljermiah Mack, were found guilty and charged with kidnapping and racketeering.

Now, it appears that Tekashi and his team are asking for expedited sentencing so he can begin his prison sentence. Tekashi’s lawyer made the request via a letter, saying, “Counsel for Mr. Hernandez respectfully requests that sentencing be scheduled on an expedited basis. The Government does not object to this request. In order to facilitate the request for expedited sentencing." Take a look at the letter above.
