Recently, it was revealed that Stacey Dash was arrested for a possible domestic violence charge, and now reports have surfaced noting the former Fox News correspondent claimed she is not able to afford a private lawyer.
Legal documents that surfaced said that Dash claims she is indigent, which means she doesn’t have enough money to get a private lawyer. Because of that, Dash has asked to be represented by a public defender. Dash noted that she was trying to get her husband off of her in self-defense and that any issues were a result of her trying to defend herself. Stay tuned for more updates.

Previously, it was reported that Stacey Dash was arrested for domestic battery this past Sunday night. Now, body camera footage of Dash's arrested has surfaced. In the video, once Dash is handcuffed, you can hear officers asking her questions about her life and more. Watch above.

According to reports, Stacey Dash was arrested for domestic battery this past Sunday night.
The incident reportedly took place around 7:45 pm it was noted that Dash pushed the victim and slapped the man in his face in a New Port Richey apartment. The arrest report said, “The victim sustained red scratch marks to his left upper arm from being pushed.” It was noted there was no alcohol or drug influence for Dash.
The Pasco Sheriff’s Department took Stacey Dash to a Land O’ Lakes detention facility.
