Kobe Bryant has built a persona, rather an entire brand around the "Mamba Mentality." His competitiveness made him into one of the greatest players of all-time and regarded as the GOAT by many. As a coach, Kobe apparently carries the same edge as was made clear from a recent IG post of his.

Kobe coaches his daughter's AAU team and they recently annihilated a team that gave them problems just two-years ago. Bryant posted a picture of the team after their 2017 loss when they "won" fourth place in the tournament. He used the picture to explain the progression his girl's made over the two-year period and wrote: "Here’s our fourth place 'winners' picture lol six of the kids in the picture stayed with me and worked every single day to get better and continue to work to this day." But the second half of the caption made the post go viral.

"The 7th player (not in pic) missed this game for a dance recital so that should tell you where her focus was at this time," Kobe said. Many people instantly called Kobe out for going too hard at the 7th grader. But he explained to one Twitter user the purpose of his post:

"...I was just explaining why she wasn’t in the pic. Most of my kids on the team played and still play other sports including my daughter so it’s all love. Don’t misunderstand the message."
