A 17-year-old Florida teen has been arrested after a schoolmate alerted police that the teen paid another friend "a lot of money" to kill her parents. According to the Lake County Sheriff’s Office, Alyssa Hatcher stole her parents' debit card and withdrew money in order to pay for the hit. Hatcher's boyfriend also told police that he saw her on Monday when she revealed her plan to him.
When police took Hatcher into custody, the teen admitted that she paid someone $400 to do the job but that person failed to carry out the order which prompted her to pay someone else $900 in order to kill her parents. In addition to using her parents debit card to withdraw money to place a hit on them, she used $100 to purchase cocaine.
Hatcher has been officially charged with two counts of criminal solicitation of murder.
