While speaking with the media on Monday (September 9), Donald Trump warned that some of the survivors from Hurricane Dorian in the Bahamas could be "very bad people." He explained that "everyone needs totally proper documentation" when trying to enter the U.S., adding that "the Bahamas has some tremendous problems with people going to the Bahamas that weren't supposed to be there."

Trump went on to say, "I don't want to allow people that weren't supposed to be in the Bahamas to come into the United States, including some very bad people and some very bad gang members and some very, very bad drug dealers."

This comes after several hundred storm survivors were prevented from boarding a ferry to Florida because they lacked US visas, which was later labeled as a mistake by authorities.
