Fans have been gearing up for the upcoming NBA season, with many wanting to see how LeBron James and Anthony Davis will function on the same team. Now, in a recent interview with Yahoo Sports, Anthony Davis revealed some that LeBron wants Davis to be the focal-point player for the Lakers’ offense.
Davis said, “I’ve kind of been a focal-point player my whole career, especially in New Orleans. But first off, to have a guy like LeBron, someone of his caliber, go tell management and ownership and the coaches that he wants me to be the focal point is an honor.”
Davis also said that he wants to make sure that he and LeBron are on the All-Defensive team as well. Davis also noted that he is pushing for the NBA Defensive Player of the Year.
