After coming forward and opening up about his attraction to transwomen, actor Malik Yoba came under fire following allegations from a transwoman who claimed Yoba paid her for sex while she was underage. He recently spoke with Claudia Jordan about the entire situation and Yoba claims the entire story to be bogus. He said he was expecting some backlash from his revelation but wasn't expecting the allegations. Nevertheless, Yoba stood firm on his denial and said the truth will eventually prevail.

Following the news of actor Malik Yoba penning a message on Instagram revealing that he's trans attracted, one transgender woman's post about Yoba is going viral.
A post written by Mariah Lopez Ebony states, "Surviving Malik Yoba: We had sex, when I was just a teen." She added, "For all who applaud and solute [sic] Malik Yoba for revealing he is so called ‘Trans Attracted’, understand that either because of deeper issues he has or, because of ‘society’ pushing him and others to deep, dark places, his admission to being sexually attracted to Trans women, is bound to open a Pandora’s box for him; not because the women are Trans, But because many of the Trans women he engaged in sexual exploration and exploitation with on 14th Street, Times Square and elsewhere, were minors. Including myself."
Ebony went on to say that the incidents happened when she was 13 and 16, adding that," Paying for cheap thrills and secret orgasms; begging for unsafe, unprotected sex from a runaway Trans teen, while enjoying stardom as a successful artist and business man ….isn’t love."
