Reports surfaced noting that former DEA agent Chad Scott was convicted by a jury for corruption charges. Since then, Scott’s co-defendant has requested a delay.

The charges against Scott and his co-defendant Rodney Gemar stem from them being accused of taking money and items seized during drug raids, and also destroying evidence. Scott was found guilty for two counts of perjury, two counts of falsifying government records, and three counts of obstruction of justice.

According to J. Prince, Chad Scott is a DEA agent who was assigned to destroy Rap-A-Lot Records when other labels like Death Row and Murder Inc were being attacked by law enforcement agencies as well.
