The hype-train around the New Orleans Pelicans new franchise player, Zion Williamson, has been buttressed by the latest news surrounding the former Duke Blue Devil. According to Sole Collector, a pair of Williamson's game-worn Nike Kyrie 5s which he wore while playing college ball was just auctioned off for nearly $20,000 ($19,200 to be exact).
Zion rocked the Kyries for Duke's season-opener in the Maui Invitational where they played against San Diego State. Williamson ended the night with 13 points and six rebounds in route to a 90-64 victory.
