Previously this year, Cardi B sued bloggers Starmine Ebony Jones and Latasha K for defamation, saying the bloggers allegedly called her a prostitute and also allegedly said she had herpes. Since then, the bloggers reportedly hit Cardi with a $1 million lawsuit, saying the entertainer issued gang threats to them. Now, Cardi is asking for the lawsuit to be thrown out.
Court documents that surfaced noting that Cardi asked for the lawsuit to be dismissed, saying the suit is just “a transparent attempt to garner media attention and retaliate against” the star. Along with that, Cardi says she never defamed the blogger in public, stating that saying she is a dumb a** b***h is just name-calling. Stay tuned for more details in this case.
