The popularity of Juul pods have risen in the last year, but one instance of using the Juul has found a Florida International University student at the mercy of smoking, as his lung reportedly collapsed.
The college freshman, Chance Ammirata documented the whole ordeal via Instagram, and said: “It's scary when you see seven surgeons come in, you think they're going to tell you, you have like five days to live.” This came after the student was rushed to the hospital earlier in the month after he said the pain of sitting down was too much for him to bear.
Via his Instagram, the student revealed that he had been using the Juul for a year and a half and that he was addicted, going thru a pod every two days. Juul has not responded to the claims from Ammirata. Take a look at his post above.
