The A$AP Rocky case has gripped much of the news cycle this week as the rapper's court proceedings were underway. Rocky was arrested on assault charges after an encounter with two men turned into a brawl which Rocky and his associates say escalated after many attempts to diffuse the situation. The prosecution offered its closing argument on Friday where they pushed for Rocky to remain in jail until the final verdict is handed down on August 14. However, the panel of judges ruled that Rocky be released while he awaits the verdict. He has been allowed to leave Sweden until then and immediately hopped on social media to thank everyone for their support.
"Thank you from the bottom of my heart to all of my fans, friends, and anyone across the globe who supported me during these few weeks," Rocky wrote. "I can't begin to describe how grateful I am for all of you this has been a very difficult and humbling experience I want to thank the court for allowing me Bladi and Thoto to return to our family and friends thanks agains for all the love and support."
