More details have surfaced about Young Dro's recent arrest for allegedly throwing a plate of banana pudding in his girlfriend's face. According to a report posted by TMZ on Monday (July 29), Young Dro's girlfriend claims that he punched her in the face, which she says left a bruise. The rapper is also accused of taking a knife and cutting up furniture in his home.
Once police arrived at Dro's home, his girlfriend refused to cooperate with police and the rapper reportedly told them that the alleged bruise on her face was a birthmark. After being arrested, Dro's girlfriend told police that he has a problem with drugs, naming Xanax, ecstasy, Albuterol, molly, and Percocet as substances that he uses. She claims that he "lashes out" while coming down from the drugs.
Dro is being held on a child support contempt order while also facing charges of misdemeanor battery/family violence.

According to TMZ, earlier this month rapper Young Dro was arrested after allegedly throwing a plate of banana pudding at his girlfriend during a heated argument over money. The couple's food fight culminated with police arriving on the scene and whisking away Dro despite his girlfriend refusing to press charges. As a result of the arrest, Young Dro is now facing two counts of misdemeanor battery/family violence.
To make matters worse, Young Dro remains in police custody due to a child support contempt order. According to court documents, Young Dro owes $41,000 in back child support and has to pay $10,000 in order to be released from jail.
TMZ reports that sources close to Dro say this child support situation is with another one of his baby's mamas and not his current girlfriend. Moreover, sources say Dro is up to date on his child support and claims that this is a clerical mistake.
