Lauded battle-rapper and Newark, NJ native Tsu Surf has been arrested for marijuana possession and the illegal possession of a magazine clip. The irony of Surf's arrest is that it occurred on July 25, which is the title of his latest album (Seven 25) that dropped this past January. To bring it full circle, on July 25, 2018, Surf was shot in his hometown of Newark.
Surf is currently being held in a New Jersey jail. Stay tuned as more information becomes available.
