XXL dropped the Freshman Cyphers on Tuesday (July 23), and Megan Thee Stallion and DaBaby got a lot of attention from their performances on social media.
DaBaby previewed his verse back in April on Instagram, but as many have pointed out, the cyphers are not freestyles. Despite hearing parts of the verses before, viewers were still applauding DaBaby's performance and lauding him as one of the best of the bunch.
Megan was the only female featured in her group, and she held her own against DaBaby, YK Osiris, and Lil Mosey. Megan spit in the cypher, "Speaking on my name only make it sound better, your n***a in my DM and he writing love letters." You can check it out in full up top.
