R. Kelly had a court hearing that took place today and ended up entering a plea of not guilty in reference to the sexual abuse charges he is facing.
Kelly was in court wearing an orange jumpsuit and shackles while facing a judge. The singer’s team reportedly tried to convince a judge to release him, but he has been deemed a danger to the community. As a result, Kelly is being denied bond.

R. Kelly was arrested by NYPD detectives and Homeland Security Investigation agents on sex trafficking charges in Chicago, according to various reports. Details surrounding the case are scarce, but are expected to be revealed on Friday (July 12). It is expected that the embattled singer will be transported to New York City.
