Boonk took to Instagram to reveal that he has to have his jaw wired shut for six weeks after being punched in the face. Footage of the incident was caught on film, which quickly went viral over the weekend. Boonk followed up on Instagram, telling fans that he had a "Broken jaw on both sides, surgery 7:30am." 

In his most recent video, Boonk spoke with his mouth wired shut, telling fans, "Six weeks with my mouth wired together." His face looked extremely swollen, but his doctor told him that he didn't lose any teeth.

John Gabbana—also known as Boonk says both sides of his jaw was broken after he was seen on camera getting punched in the face by a man he was talking to. In the video, Boonk was surrounded by a few men and seemed to be in some kind of verbal altercation with them when one of the men swung on him.
