Trey Songz Moves to Get Assault Case Dropped, Claims Self-Defense

Trey Songz was recently sued by a woman named Andrea Buera, who claims the singer assaulted her during an NBA All-Star Weekend event. The woman said that Trey Songz allegedly became infuriated after he saw her talking to one of his friends.

Now Trey Songz is asking a judge to drop the case. According to court documents, Songz said the “reasonably believed Plaintiff was going to harm him and any force he used was only the amount reasonable necessary to protect himself.” Songz is essentially noting that he used self-defense in reference to the alleged situation.
